Firefighters were called to rescue a dog that got stuck on a roof after he climbed out a window to investigate some annoying seagulls.
Whisky, the West Highland Terrier, is believed to have reached the sloping tiled roof by climbing out a dormer window to get closer to a bunch of seagulls but found himself unable to get down and balancing on a steep ridge.
Whisky’s owners, Jenny and Richard, were alerted to Whisky’s location after his sister, Jazz, began barking from the garden.
The couple tried to coax the dog back inside from the window but finally were forced to call the fire department.
Four firemen arrived and used a ladder to reach the dog and carry him down to safety.
