A crocodile that was found wandering outside a pet store at a Northern California shopping mall has been safely captured by California Fish and Wildlife officials.
Police believe that the wandering croc was left outside the store by someone who no longer wanted it.
The 4-foot long animal had his jaws wrapped shut with heavy-duty tape and there was a note announcing that the creature was a Nile crocodile and instructed the finder to “call rescue.
No one was hurt during the strange incident and the croc was captured easily.
California Fish and Wildlife officials are now feeding him rainbow trout and will likely donate the crocodile to a zoo.
