An Indian man has unofficially broken a Guinness World Record after he balanced a field hockey stick on one finger for 3 hours, 35 minutes.

Raj Gopal Bhoi lives in the Jamutjhula village, which is in the Balangir district of Odisha.

He balanced the field hockey stick on his right index finger, with numerous witnesses including Satyapira Padhan, who is another Guinness World Record holder.

Bhoi aimed to beat the previous record of 2 hours, 22 minutes, 22 seconds, which was set by Himanshu Gupta in 2017.

Video of Bhoi’s attempt and statements from his witnesses are being submitted to Guinness World Records for official recognition.
