Chimney’s Christmas Treasure

A letter to Santa from the 1930s has been found in a chimney in Wales.

The letter was discovered by builders working on renovations. Written by a 5 year old girl named Christine, the letter asks Santa for ‘some nice toys’ and ‘a hymn book’.

Christine is now 82 and was excited to discover that her letter was found after 77 years.

I imagine that our Christmas letters have quite different requests from Santa. What have you asked Santa for, and what do you think people in 77 years would think of the letter if they found it?
