Last week, the extravaganza known as the Met Gala took place.
The Met Gala is the annual benefit for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. It was held in New York City.
The dress code for 2022 was “gilded glamour,” a reference to the Gilded Age in America. This means fashion from between 1870 and 1890 – the colour gold, corsets, bustles and big sleeves.
