Car display on Empire State Building

The Empire State Building in New York is one of the most famous skyscrapers in the world.

So when the Ford motor company wanted to display their latest Mustang they wanted to unveil it on the icon building.

The Empire State Building is a 103-story located in New York City.It has a roof height of 381 meters, and with its  spire included, it stands a total of 443 m high.

The car was spilt into six parts to get it up and then assembled at the top.

Ford’s George Samulski said he was inspired by a 1965 display, in which a car was sliced into four sections to fit into the buildings elevators.
