Blues beat Chiefs in thriller

The Blues have won their first game of the season beating the Chiefs 24-22 at Eden Park.

A late-game winning try from Mark Talea has secured the Blues their first win of the season. The winning conversion from Stephen Perofeta made the lead 2 points with only a few minutes to play.

Earlier the Chiefs lead 12-10 at the halftime break and led from halftime right the way through to the 75th minute.

In other games this round, Fijian Drua notched a historic 31-26 Super Rugby Pacific win over the Melbourne Rebels, while Moana Pasifika went down 33-12 to the Crusaders. The Hurricanes have beaten the Highlanders 21-14
