Black Ferns beat Scotland in final pool game

The Black Ferns have beaten Scotland 57-0 in their final pool game in Whangārei.

The Black Ferns got of to a great start with Renee Holmes scoring in the second minute before Ayesha Leti-L’iga followed eight minutes later.

New Zealand accumlated a total of seven first-half tries to lead 45-0 at half-time.

The Black Ferns, with bonus point wins in both their opening games, and the demolition of Scotland have meant they have qualified top of pool A.

Australia also booked their place in the quarter-finals with a hard-fought 13-7 win over Wales.
