The Black Ferns have beaten France 25-24 in the World Cup semi-final at Eden Park.

Going into the break France lead 17-10 before the Black Ferns fought back and ended up taking the lead for the first time in the game in the 56th minute.

A yellow card for loose forward Safi N’Diaye in the 70th minute for a high tackle proved costly for France and they struggled to take the lead late on.

A penalty awarded to France in the final 70 seconds of the game and would’ve given the French a two-point win, but was missed by Caroline Drouin and the Black Ferns held on to take the win

The Black ferns will now play England in the final of the Rugby World cup at Eden Park after they beat Canada 26-19 in their semi-final.
