Black Caps lose tri-series final against Pakistan

The Blackcaps have lost the final of the tri series against Pakistan by 5 wickets at Christchurch.

After losing the toss the Blackcaps were sent in to bat by the Pakistan captain Babar Azam.

Captain Kane Williamson top scored for the Blackcaps with 59 runs off 38 balls helping them reach 163/7 of their 20 overs.

Haris Rauf was the pick of the bowlers with 2-22 from his four overs.

Pakistan’s openers Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan got them of to a great start with Rizwan scoring 34 runs.

The Black Caps will start their T20 World Cup campaign against Australia on 22 October.
