Black Caps beat Sri Lanka in T20 World Cup

The Black Caps have beaten Sri Lanka by 65 runs in their third pool stage match at the Sydney Cricket ground.

After winning the toss and batting first the Black Caps got off to a poor start being 15 for 3 in the fourth over.

Glenn Phillips batted most of the innings and scored 104 of 64 deliveries. This innings helped the Black Caps get to 167 for 7 off their 20 overs.

The Black Caps got off to a great start with Sri Lanka being 8 for 4 in the fourth over. They never recovered from this position and were bowled out for 102 in the 20th over.
