Black Caps beat Bangladesh in first One Day International

The Black Caps have won the first One Day International against Bangladesh.

New Zealand started strongly, bowling the visitors out for 131. Trent Boult took 4/23 while Mitchell Santner (2/23) and James Neesham (2/27) grabbed a pair of wickets each. 

Martin Guptiil then got the Blackcaps off to a fast start. He hit four sixes and three fours in a 19-ball 32 as the Blackcaps brought up 50 in five overs.

Henry Nicholls ended up 49 not out as the Black Caps reached the total 2 wickets down and 28 overs to spare.

Trent Boult was named Man of the Match. The next game is on Tuesday in Christchurch.
