Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has been in Auckland for a meeting with his New Zealand counterpart, John Key.
Mr Turnbull had a private dinner with Mr Key when he arrived last Friday and then more formal talks on Monday.
Australia have just announced new deportation rules.
This means any New Zealander in Australia who has served a jail term of more than 1 year will be sent back here.
There are currently around 200 New Zealanders who fit this criteria being held in Australian detention centres.
This issue was the major talking point of the day although neither leader has made any formal announcement.
