The Australian women’s cricket team have beaten New Zealand.

The result means that Australia now lead the series 2-0, with one game to play.

The star of the day was Australia batswomen, Ellyse Perry, who clubbed her maiden one-day international century to inspire the 95-run win.

Chasing Australia’s 247-7, New Zealand crashed to 152 all out.

The final game of the series is now in Melbourne.

The result extends Australia’s two-decade dominance over the Kiwis – they haven’t lost a ODI series to New Zealand since February 1999.
