Australia have beaten New Zealand in their final One Day International at Blake Park, Tauranga.

Australia defended 149-7 to win by 21 runs in the rain-affected match.

Australia coasted to 73-0 off 10 overs before a come back from the White Ferns saw Australia restricted to 149 off their 25 overs.

In reply New Zealand never really got started in their run chase and were always behind the run rate.

The result means that Australia keep the Rose Bowl trophy. They also extended their world record run to 24 matches unbeaten.
