The Australian soap Neighbours will shoot its final scene in June 2022.

The iconic Australian show has been going on for 37 years.

The show launched the international careers of countless stars including Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Margot Robbie and Guy Pearce. It is the longest-running drama series on Australian television and still attracted 1.5 million viewers a day

Neighbours was first broadcast on the Seven Network on 18 March 1985.

The storylines concern the lives of the people who live and work in Erinsborough, a fictional suburb of Melbourne, Victoria.

The series focuses on the residents of Ramsay Street, a cul-de-sac, and its neighbouring area.
