When you watch TV do you have another screen on the go at the same time?

A new report from the United Kingdom claims that most children use multiple screens at once. Infact in some situations children were on four screens at once.

Screen Stacking is the phrase that describes someone who is using several devices, such as computers, televisions or mobile phones, all at once.

The above findings are part of a large yearly study of online and media habits in the UK.

Another study last year, on around 800 teenage girls, found ‘worrying trends’ between screen use and lower physical activity, higher BMI and less sleep.

This same study found as families got closer to the weekend the worse the problem got. Screen stacking occurred at a rate of 59% using two or more devices at the start of the week. This increased to 68% of girls by the weekend.

Let us know how many screens you use in the poll below.
