Online retailer Amazon has revealed a new smartphone capable of showing images in 3D.

The technology in the phone uses four front facing  cameras to track your face and adjust images on the screen to make them look three dimensional.

The phone is now on sale in America. The phone costs about the same as an iPhone or Samsung smart phone.

HTC and LG produced their own 3D phones in 2011, but these only used 3D filters in the screen.

Amazon’s 3D phone alters the images depending on the position of your face.

  1. I thought I would be amazed, but if I had one I’d probably have a heart attack if it jumps out quickly! If they do that, they should make 3D games, should I suggest Slender Man?

  2. 3d phones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. I don’t think this is a good idea because it will hurt your eyes and wouldn’t it drain the battery even faster because it has to use more graphics powering to make the image pop!
