21 teams of architects, engineers, and schools have been showcasing their efforts at Canstruction.
Canstruction is a sculpture-building competition in Vancouver in which participants create huge displays out of more than 80,000 of donated cans.
The charity event has been held each year since 2002. Over that time it has collected more than $1.3 million, all of which have been donated to people in poverty.
The organisers said: “Our goal is to shed some light on our regions hunger issues, offer some help and place a ton of food in the hands of those who need it most.
Sculptures from this year’s event are on display at the city’s Pendulum Art Gallery until May 13th.
