The All White’s game against England has been cancelled.

England were due to host the All Whites on 12 November. However, New Zealand Football (NZF) say the game could “potentially jeopardise” their players’ careers.

One of the key issues was that many NZ players would be subject to quarantine or restrictions on their return home. This would heavily disrupt their domestic seasons.

The New Zealand Football team have not played an international match since their friendly defeat by Lithuania last November.

England and New Zealand have not met in an international match since the late Graham Taylor managed the Three Lions to a 2-0 friendly victory in Wellington on 8 June 1991.

  1. I am a Football Cricket and Rugby person but NZF is right. Plus they could come out back to NZ with covid-19 badder then the covid NZ already has (if NZ has covid-19 at the moment)
