The All Blacks have beaten England 20-15 in the first game of their three match series.

The win keeps the all Blacks 20 year unbeaten run at Eden Park, although the All Blacks didn’t claim the win until the 78th minute.

It was a disjointed performance from the world champions and the 9-9 scoreline was a credit to the English team.

During the second half the All Blacks played better and the sin-binning of  Marland Yarde, gave the All Blacks a man advantage for the final 10 minutes.

The All Blacks claimed the victory when Cruden turned down a straight forward shot at goal, catching England off-guard with a quick tap. The bold move ultimately resulted in Conrad Smith scoring in the corner.

The second test is in Dunedin next Saturday.
