Kiwi Kids News caught up with Jamie and Kim from the 40 Hour Famine Red Team and asked them a few questions about the upcoming event.

What are you looking forward to about the 40 Hour Famine this year?
Trying to get heaps of people involved and excited about raising as much money as we can for Bangladesh – JAMIE

Why do you reckon Kiwis should take a stand for the people of Bangladesh?
I think it is important to always give back and give to those who are less fortunate than ourselves. We are so blessed to live and grow up in New Zealand and by taking part in the 40 Hour Famine we can all work together to make a real change to so many lives. – KIM

If you could have a super power, what would it be?
I wish I could read people’s minds – JAMIE
I would love to be able to teleport or fly! – KIM

What are you giving up this year?
Not sure yet, maybe food? – JAMIE

Why should people join your team?
Besides the fact that Team RED is the best team!!! I encourage everyone to join us as we are dedicated to making this year’s Famine really fun and we are passionate about the cause. We also have a few ideas up our sleeve that we will reveal each time we reach a fundraising target!

  1. I might do it for not using the strong font XD lol jk

I’ll actually do it for not riding in a car. ( I know that’s pretty much worthless but still, it saves money)
