Kiwi Kids News caught up with Eve, Adam and Michael Lee from the 40 Hour Famine Green Team and asked them a few questions about the upcoming event.

What are you looking forward to about the 40 Hour Famine this year?
I’m looking forward to once again seeing NZ’ers team up, united in voice, for a fantastic cause. And also kicking the other teams butts. – MICHAEL

Why do you reckon Kiwis should take a stand for the people of Bangladesh?
It’s about treating people how you’d like to be treated. Nobody deserves to live in poverty and by joining together and even just raising $20 each, we can change people’s lives dramatically. – EVE

If you could have a super power, what would it be?
I’d love to be able to click my fingers and stop war, just like that. – EVE

Telelkenesis, fancy I know, but essentially means I can move stuff with my mind. Which really means, I can get food from the fridge without moving. – MICHAEL

It’s a classic, but to be able to fly! Seriously how cool would that be? And you’d save
so much on flights. However you’d miss out on the free crisps and Cookie Time cookies. – ADAM

What are you giving up this year?
Food! – EVE & MICHAEL
Wearing pants/shorts. – ADAM

Why should people join your team?
Because we will try get you on the telly!! How epic would that be?! Man that would be cool. So cool. Do it, join our team, I dare you…
