A Thai man is recovering in hospital after a 3m (10ft) python emerged from a squat toilet and bit him.
Attaporn Boonmakchuay said the python bit him very hard and would not let go.
He yelled to his wife in pain and she was forced to trying and pull it off her husband.
After Mr Boonmakchuay was safe in hospital, workers dismantled the toilet and extracted the python which had slithered through domestic plumbing.
The incident happened at his home in Chachoengsao province, east of Bangkok.
