Three  people have put their hat in the ring to become the new Labour Party leader.
Current deputy leader, Grant Robertson, David Cunliffe and Shane Jones have all officially been announced as putting their names forward for the position.
All three will spend the next 2 weeks travelling around New Zealand attempting to get enough votes to win the leadership vote.
At this stage Robertson and Cunliffe seem the favourites, although Shane Jones has shown very quickly he has some good ideas he would like to bring in if he was leader.
The leader who is chosen now will lead the New Zealand Labour Party into the next election and has a chance of being the next Prime Minister.
