With the 29th of February coming around only once every 4 years (in a leap year) one family in Michigan is twice lucky after welcoming their second daughter born on Feb 29th!

Chad and Melissa Croff welcomed their second child, Evelyn, 10 days after her due date.

She now shares her birthday with her older sister, Eliana, who was born on the same day, 4 years ago in the previous leap year.

Siblings sharing a birth date does not happen often and the Guinness World Record is set by 5 siblings born on the same day from 1952 to 1966.

  1. to avoid any confusion or something, they would have their birthdays on the 1st of march 😉

    other than that, cool story!

  2. That’s kinda weird. It still would be cool have your birthday every 4 years! Did you know that a lady got married when she was 6!
