Pasta is one of the world’s most popular foods, but this brand is spicing things up a little with something a little extra in their pasta – insects!

Stephanie Richard in north eastern France created the insect pasta – made from flour with crickets and grasshoppers.

The idea started when Stephanie began working on high-protein pasta for athletes and was contact by an insect supplier.

Stephanie says that “the insect is the protein of the future” and many seem to agree, her factory cannot keep up with the demand!

Would you try it?
