Rachel Banbury
A macaw named Gigi has been rescued from captivity and given a new 3D titanium beak in Brazil.
Gigi was born with a deformed beak and could not eat solid foods properly. Her new beak was designed by 3D designer professor Cicero Moraes.
Gigi is the first patient to ever have a 3D titanium beak attached. She recovered well from the surgery and is now able to each many of the foods she could not before.

this is aMAZing and Gigi must of been very brave!!!!!!
Titanium… wouldn’t that be a waste? Though, I guess that would be one of the best materials for it. Iron is magnetic, and most of the other materials would be heavy.
