Kiwi songstress Lorde has climbed five places closer to a dream No. 1 spot on the US singles charts.

The 16-year-old Kiwi singer’s hit single Royals is now the No. 3 song on the US music charts. Last week she was in the  No. 8 spot.

Only Katy Perry’s Roar, at No. 1, and Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines, at No. 2, stand in front of her.

The song has been top of the Alternative Songs airplay chart for five weeks – equaling the solo female record held by Alanis Morissette’s You Oughta Know since 1995.

Currently Lorde is embarking on a six-week UK and US promotional trip.

My opinion is that, i don’t think she deserves to be where she is. She isn’t even that good at singing and i don’t think she should be singing. I don’t like her at all, i’ll beat her in 1v1 trickshot final.
