Praise for New Zealands World Cup effort

Written by  Matthew

The Australian coach Robbie Deans has thanked New Zealand for hosting an outstanding tournament.

A very Gracious Robbie Deans was bursting with praise for New Zealand especially as the dingos claimed 3rd after beating Wales 21-18 at Eden Park. Deans then said New Zealand took great pride from managing the event so well.

"I'd like to thank the nation for the whole world cup experience. I think it has been outstanding from the beginning", he said.

Also the supporters that made the effort to come down here... its been like a festival ffrom the beginning.

I think the nation can be very proud of the event they have put on. I understand the numbers have stacked up really well and the government will be excited about that and excited about the potential for a win with an election coming up soon.

He was also very happy to see the wallabies break their Eden Park losing streak, against a northen hemisphere side other than the ABs.
