It can understand Kiwis pronounciations but not with the same accuracy.
This is where the Iphone misses the Kiwis accent.
We say' fish' and 'chips' and they hear 'fush' and 'chups'.
We asay 'peg' they hear 'pig'.
We say 'baggage' they hear 'baggage chicken'.
We say 'pan' they hear 'pen'.
